Firms are responding to metal health challenge under lockdown

The Telegraph looks at various ways in which employers are looking to support the mental health of employees affected by the demands of home working and school closures during the pandemic. New research by Purbeck Insurance Services suggests that almost two in three workers at SMEs feel their mental health has suffered as a result of the Covid crisis. Some 66% of women and 62% of men have battled with poor sleep, stress and anxiety or feelings of isolation, depression or anger. It backs recent findings by Aviva that 58% and 55% respectively of employees have neglected their physical and mental wellbeing since the COVID-19 outbreak due to work pressures.
